About Music Pathway Choir

Located in the heart of New York City’s vibrant Koreatown, Music Pathway Choir is a warm, community-centered ensemble where New Yorkers from all backgrounds come together to sing, connect, and share the joy of music. Our choir brings together young scholars, scientists, creative thinkers, industry professionals, and passionate music lovers—forming a uniquely intelligent, diverse, and inspiring musical community.

Under the artistic guidance of a Doctor of Musical Arts in Piano Performance, with a professional conductor leading each rehearsal, Music Pathway Choir ensures a high level of musicality while nurturing an inviting and supportive atmosphere. Each voice section is coached by accomplished young vocal artists, helping singers develop healthy vocal technique and unified ensemble sound.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Tuition covers the full 14-week rehearsal cycle, including:

    • Weekly 1.5-hour rehearsals

    • Professional conductor and pianist

    • Sectional guidance and vocal coaching

    • Concert participation

    • Stage blocking, dress rehearsal, and production coordination

    • Venue and administrative costs

    • Group concert video for review and memories

  • No prior experience is required.
    We welcome all adults who enjoy singing and are eager to learn.

  • Your place is confirmed once payment is received.
    Spaces are limited and will be filled in order of completed payments.

  • We accept:

    Payment details will be provided in your confirmation email.

  • Because the choir operates with limited capacity and advance venue bookings:

    • Cancellations 7+ days before the first rehearsal: 50% refund

    • Cancellations within 7 days of the first rehearsal: non-refundable

    If the program is canceled by Music Pathway, you will receive a full refund.

  • We understand that schedules vary.
    There are no make-up rehearsals, but participants will receive:

    • Sectional learning materials

    • Group rehearsal recordings (if available)

    • Guidance to stay on track for the next rehearsal

  • No required uniforms.
    If a specific concert color/theme is suggested, you may use your own clothing.

    All basic materials are included in the tuition.

  • We maintain a limited-capacity ensemble to ensure quality musicianship and a meaningful rehearsal experience.
    Early registration is recommended.
