Our 30-minute trial lesson is designed for new students who would like to experience Music Pathway Studio before enrolling in a regular program.
During the trial lesson, the teacher will get to know the student’s current level, musical interests, learning goals, and recommended next steps. Students may choose piano, voice, violin, cello, or musical theatre voice based on availability.
After the trial lesson, our team will recommend the most suitable lesson length, weekly schedule, teacher placement, and program option.
Trial lessons are available for both children and adults. In-person lessons are held at Music Pathway Studio in Midtown Manhattan. Online trial lessons may be available upon request.

Music Pathway’s Children’s Program is designed for students ages 4–18 who are beginning or continuing their musical journey. Our program combines private instruction, structured learning goals, performance opportunities, and regular teacher feedback to help each child build strong musical skills, confidence, and long-term motivation.
Students may study piano, voice, violin, cello, or musical theatre voice. Based on each student’s age, level, and goals, our teachers will recommend the most suitable lesson length, repertoire, and learning plan.
Semester students receive priority access to in-studio performance classes, recital opportunities, and long-term progress planning.
Pathway Program
Foundation Program -Private music lessons for young beginners ages 4–6
The Foundation Program is designed for young beginners ages 4–6 who are starting their musical journey for the first time.
This program focuses on building musical interest, listening skills, rhythm, pitch awareness, basic music reading, healthy learning habits, and confidence in a warm one-on-one setting. Students may begin with piano, voice, or general music readiness based on their age, attention span, and teacher recommendation.
After enrollment, our team will help recommend the most suitable lesson length, weekly schedule, and learning direction for your child. Families will receive teacher feedback throughout the program, along with guidance on how to support practice at home.
This program is ideal for children who are not yet ready for a full 60-minute private lesson but are ready to begin structured music learning.
Please purchase one program per student. If you are enrolling more than one child, please complete a separate order for each student so we can match each child with the appropriate teacher and schedule.

The Children’s Short Semester Program is designed for students ages 6–18 who are ready to begin structured private music study with a clear learning plan.
This program includes 12 private lessons plus 1 bonus assessment lesson. Students may study piano, voice, violin, cello, or musical theatre voice based on teacher availability and placement. Throughout the program, students will build technical skills, musical understanding, practice habits, and confidence in a supportive one-on-one setting.
The Short Semester Program is ideal for new students, students continuing after a trial lesson, or families who would like to begin with a shorter commitment before moving into the full semester program.
Students may also be considered for in-studio performance opportunities based on their progress and teacher recommendation.

The Children’s Standard Semester Program is Music Pathway Studio’s core private lesson program for students ages 6–18.
This program includes 26 private one-on-one lessons designed to support long-term musical growth, technical development, practice habits, confidence, and performance readiness. Students may study piano, voice, violin, cello, or musical theatre voice based on teacher availability and placement.
Throughout the semester, students will receive individualized instruction, repertoire guidance, regular teacher feedback, and a structured learning direction based on their age, level, and goals. Semester students receive priority consideration for in-studio performance classes, studio recitals, and concert opportunities based on progress and teacher recommendation.
This program is ideal for families who are looking for consistent weekly music study, long-term progress, and a more complete learning experience beyond individual lessons.

Advanced Music Pathway Program
Individualized Training for Advanced and Goal-Oriented Young Musicians
The Advanced Music Pathway Program is designed for students who demonstrate strong musical potential, established technical foundations, and a commitment to more focused musical development.
Students receive advanced private instruction, individualized artistic planning, performance preparation, and access to selected master classes. Depending on each student’s goals, the program may also include preparation for auditions, competitions, festivals, graded examinations, pre-college programs, and music school applications.
Admission is based on an assessment lesson, current repertoire, learning goals, and faculty availability.

Participation
Master class participation is included in selected Advanced Program plans. Standard Semester students may also be invited based on their progress, preparation, and teacher recommendation.
Music Pathway master classes give selected students the opportunity to perform for distinguished artists, educators, and guest faculty in a focused and supportive learning environment.
Unlike a regular private lesson, a master class allows students to receive expert guidance while also learning by observing other musicians. The experience helps students develop musical understanding, performance confidence, adaptability, and a broader artistic perspective.
