His collaborations encompass a wide range of repertoire—from Baroque to contemporary works—including Dialogues des Carmélites, Florencia en el Amazonas, Ainadamar, and Trial by Jury. A devoted educator, Peng is committed to nurturing the next generation of musicians through his teaching at Eastman and his private piano studio. His students have gone on to study at leading conservatories such as the Manhattan School of Music, USC Thornton School of Music, and the Ukrainian National Tchaikovsky Academy of Music.

In addition to his academic work, Peng serves as Music Director of St. Timothy Evangelical Lutheran Church in Rochester, NY, where he leads the choir and curates the church’s musical programming with sensitivity and creativity. His performances have graced major venues across the United States, including Kodak Hall, Kilbourn Hall, and the Aspen Music Festival.

Peng holds degrees from the Peabody Conservatory of Music (Master of Music in Piano Performance) and the Manhattan School of Music (Bachelor of Music), and has studied with legendary artists Leon Fleisher, Marina Lomazov, Jeffery Cohen, and Marian Hahn.
